Features
A moderately abrasive advanced
finishing cut compound formulated without silicone
and new technology micro abrasive particles. This hologram swirl free compound gives quicker and more efficient results than the old generation of compounds. Designed for permanently removing paint imperfects, scratches, swirls, haze, and holograms on old or new paint finishes.
Benefits & Advantage
This frictionless compound is specially formulated to be used for several finishing applications. |
Body shop safe, silicone-free formula |
Applications
Advanced finishing compound for removing minor scratches, hologram swirls, paint imperfections and 2000 grit sandpaper swirls.
Instructions
Ensure polishing surface is clean and free of any debris. |
Shake container thoroughly. |
To remove orange peel finishes or other imperfection on paint, sand with dry 2000-grit sandpaper (to have a better view of the sanding on paint). The use of a wet 3,000-grit sandpaper will ease and speed up time of polishing. |
Apply a good quantity of Finishing Cut Compound (Art. 893.150912) on the surface you wish to treat with a buffing pad. |
Spread the product on approximately 60 sq cm (2 sq ft) to avoidsplashing before using the polisher. |
Use a variable speed polisher (from 1200 to 1500 RPM). Let it work slowly until a shiny oily effect appears, while applying medium pressure, if needed, wipe with a micro fibre cloth. |
For optimal results, repeat step 2 with a finishing foam pad. Use faster speed (1800 RPM) and less pressure on the polisher to polish the surface for a wet look finish. |
Finish with Advanced Finishing Glaze (Art. 893.150913) to achieve a showroom shine. |
Remove all residue with a microfibre cloth. |
Regular cleaning of the pad is recommended to avoid swirl marks and holograms. |
