Benefits & Advantage
| The drilling tip, with wings and a patented cutting shape, drills the wood according to the outer diameter of the wings; this avoids force feeding of the screw. |
| After drilling through the wood, the drilling tip meets the metal substructure and begins to drill the core hole for the thread. The wings break off automatically once the drilling tip penetrates the metal. |
| Once the drilling tip is through the metal, the thread is cut by the initial turns. |
| The screw is screwed into the self-cut thread and binds the wood and metal. |
| In the case of screws with milling ribs (for hard wood), the head is countersunk automatically. |
| The various thread types, head diameters and head designs guarantee the right screw type for a variety of wood and steel types. |

| The pias screws can only drill up to 6 mm steel! |
| Do NOT use an impact drill with these screws. Use a normal power screw driver or power drill. |
