I bought this for my Son for his new job as an Iron Worker; he tells me it is solid, durable and loves the feature that it stays extended until he pushes the button to retract it. He also like it can extend quite far and not bend this is especially helpful when he is working alone. Easy to read numbers too. He would recommend it to anyone in his field
