The crack detector system is a 3 step chemical system composed of a cleaner, a penetrant and a developer. |
The product is simple and practical to use, using capillary action to penetrate cracks and pores. |
Easy-to-apply spray that makes cracks visible to the naked eye |
Allows you to detect and inspect cracks, pores and defects in welding, forging, metal or cast-iron moulding, components, fittings, tools, surfaces and structures |
Suitable for pipework, tanks, reservoirs and heat exchangers |
Can be easily cleaned with water and/or a solvent |
Complies with the following standards: EN 571; EN ISO 3452-2; ASTM E1417; AMS 2644; ASME SEC V Art. 6; REACH |
Simple, fast, precise and cost-effective test procedure |
Ensures that welded, forged or cast materials that are difficult to check with the naked eye do not have cracks or pores |
Shake cans vigorously for at least 30 seconds before use. |
Apply the cleaner (art. 890.80012) to the surface to be tested and allow to flash off (approximately 1 minute). |
Spray the red penetrant (art. 890.80010) on the area to be inspected and wait for 10-20 minutes (depending on the ambient temperature). The penetrant penetrates cracks and pores thanks to its very good creep properties. |
Remove excess penetrant using a lint-free cloth. |
Apply the developer (art. 890.80011) thinly and leave to work for 5-10 minutes. Cracks and damage will be visible as an intense red and white contrast. |
