Features
| The wheel nut flag product is a brightly coloured, flat plastic pointer shaped device that fits tightly over a vehicle wheel nut and is positioned in a uniformed pattern |
| It is designed to identify any movement of the nut and any excessive over heating at the wheel end |
| There are two principal causes of vehicle wheel detachments, the first is the loosening of wheel nuts which would be recognized by the loose wheel nut indicator “pointer” moving out of its original set pattern |
| The second cause of wheel detachment is caused by excessive heat due to brake or wheel bearing failure |
| Excessive heat would cause the indicator to deform and eventually melt |
| The vehicle operator can now spot “at a glance” any serious trouble that has started to develop with the vehicle wheel |
| Contains UV stabilizer to extend the lifetime when fitted to the vehicle |
| Consistently melts at 125°C to indicate any wheel overheating issues, such as problems with brakes or bearings |
